This ancient Baekje temple is where Seon Master Manam entered monkhood
and passed into nirvana. He was renowned for cultivating numerous Seon
students. It was here that Spiritual Patriarch Seo-ong taught his philosophy
of “true human.” As an extension of this philosophy, the temple operates the
Mucha Seon Assembly (Great Equal Seon Assembly) and the True Human
Practice Institute.
