Dust, 灰塵 (huī chén) [dust], to brush off dust.

If you break everything down, it turns into dust. Of course, if you break dust down even further, nothing remains. Similarly, if you break down your thoughts, it is a sense of lightness that remains. Just as dust ultimately disappears, letting go of your thoughts brings peace.

Dust visible on the outside can be wiped away, but the dust accumulated in the mind is not as easy to remove. This mental dust, known as afflictions, builds up, hardens, and becomes stiff if left alone. Eventually, it controls you.

The dust in your mind is wiped away when you accept yourself and can express your thoughts, whether good or bad, with honesty and confidence. Eventually, the dust disappears, and you feel at ease without even having to wipe it away.

Have a peaceful day.
