On June 21, the Korean Buddhism Jongbopsa Society in Sydney, Australia, hosted a tea meditation and Ganhwa Seon program aimed to provide in-depth contemplative experiences for the cultivation of body and mind. About 80 people, including Australians of non-Korean descent, attended the event. The program consisted of “Ganhwa Seon: The Dharma talk and practice” by Ven. Gihu, the temple’s senior teacher, and “Tea and Seon ” by Ven. Seolwu, the temple’s general secretary.

“It was more than just an experience. It was a precious journey where the wisdom of tea and Seon were integrated into our lives,” said Ven. Seolwu.
