Most Ven. Jinwoo, President of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, stated, “Through Seon meditation, we will seek solutions for peace of mind and humanity's mutual prosperity.”

Most Ven. The summit, which had the theme ‘Collective Intelligence, United Voice, and Mutual Coexistence,’ drew approximately 800 participants, including over 200 delegates from more than 30 countries, such as Korea, Japan, Russia, Mongolia, Thailand, and Cambodia. Ven. Munjong, a member of the International Exchange Committee and head of the Dharma Propagation Office, attended the summit on behalf of Most Ven. Jinwoo, the president of the Jogye Order.

In a congratulatory address delivered by Ven. Munjong on his behalf, Most Ven. Jinwoo stated, “Through the Global Seon Meditation Summit held in Seoul, the Jogye Order shared the value of meditation with people worldwide, confirming that Seon meditation is a powerful tool for healing humanity's spiritual suffering.” He added, “We will continue to work with the global Buddhist community to promote ‘peace of mind and coexistence of humanity’ through Seon meditation.”

Most Ven. Jinwoo further emphasized, “The Global Buddhist Summit is not merely an academic exchange; it is a place to turn the Dharma wheel and overcome the crises of modern civilization through the Buddha's teachings. The Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism will always walk together on the path to creating a Pure Land, a place where all beings are liberated from suffering and enjoy great freedom.”
